ITC Wins big in IFCA Awards

  ITC won 6 awards for Packaging Excellence at the prestigious Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Carton Association (IFCA) Star Awards 2021. Mr. Dhananjay Salunkhe, Chief Executive of ITC's Packaging and Printing Business, received the awards at a ceremony in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. ITC’s Packaging and Printing Business is a top provider of superior, innovative and value added packaging for diverse consumer goods, leveraging a deep understanding of end user needs, and catering to leading players across segments - Food and Beverage, Personal Care, Home Care, Footwear, Consumer Electronics, Pharma and more. Four of ITC’s six IFCA wins came for Structural Innovations and Graphic Design. The Business also scored two prizes in the ‘Environment Friendly Products’ category with recyclable, environmentally-responsible packaging designs. ITC Wins 19 INDIA STAR Awards

ITC stole the show at the INDIA STAR Awards by the Indian Institute of Packaging, winning  19 top prizes  for excellence in packaging design and development at a ceremony in Mumbai on February 25, 2022. ITC Leads the way in WorldStar Awards 2023

  ITC’s Packaging Business scores FIVE   WorldStar Awards   – the preeminent global awards in packaging. This is the highest number of awards won by a single India company this year, and an unprecedented achievement for a packaging company. We battled it out with over 300 contestants from across 34 countries. One of our prizes came in the Foods category, and the other four top awards in the Beverages category. Of these, three awards were in the  Sustainable Packaging  domain. One was an  ultra-high barrier recyclable laminate for a coffee bean pack  to protect the contents against moisture, vapor and oxygen. This recyclable laminate manufactured with green energy is one of the eco-friendliest beverage packaging solutions. ITC Haridwar Unit wins at CII-Northern Region Green Practices Award-2022

ITC’s Packaging and Printing Business’ (PPB) Haridwar unit won the ‘ Gold Award ’ in the  CII-Northern Region Green Practices Award-2022  and was also declared the winner in ‘ Best Practices for Water Conservation ’ category for Large Industries. ITC-PPB Haridwar delivered impressive reduction of 18.1% in its specific water consumption (water consumed per ton of production) and 35.4% reduction in specific hazardous waste generation (haz. waste per ton of production). The unit also achieved over 3.7% reduction in its specific electricity consumption and 1.5% in its specific thermal energy consumption during the assessment period. The unit also collaborated with our customers & downstream supply partners on various innovative Big Bang as well as incremental measures taken in-house during the assessment period across all its production lines based on the 3R philosophy of Reduce-Reuse-Recycle.
