ITC Scales Up Sustainable Packaging and Cuts Plastic Use
Powered by its “Sustainability 2.0” vision articulated by chairman and MD Sanjiv Puri, the ITC company has been scaling up investments in developing innovative and eco-friendly packaging solutions that can substitute single-use plastics. Commitment to Sustainability ITC has sustained its Plastic Neutrality status for the second consecutive year by successfully managing 60,000 MT of plastic waste in FY23, which exceeds the total amount of packaging it utilized. Highlighting the company’s efforts, B. Sumant, executive director at ITC, stated, “At ITC, we have put in place comprehensive interventions for waste management with a focus on plastics.
