ITC Haridwar Unit Wins Gold at CII Northern Region Green Practices Awards 2022
ITC Packaging and Printing Business (PPB) Haridwar unit has been honored with the Gold Award at the CII Northern Region Green Practices Awards 2022. The unit also received recognition for Best Practices in Water Conservation in the large industries category. During the assessment period, ITC Haridwar achieved significant environmental milestones: 18.1% reduction in specific water consumption per ton of production 35.4% reduction in specific hazardous waste generation 3.7% reduction in specific electricity consumption and 1.5% reduction in thermal energy consumption The unit implemented innovative in-house measures and collaborated with customers and supply partners, following the 3R philosophy (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) .
